Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. No Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Please be advised that according to Section 18 (1) line 10 of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Sales Act (FAGG), there is no statutory right of withdrawal (14-day cooling-off period) for bookings of travel services (e.g., package tours, accommodation, flights) involving a specific date or period. Once a booking is confirmed, it is legally binding.

2. Cancellation by the Traveler (Withdrawal)
You may withdraw from the travel contract at any time before the start of the trip, subject to the payment of an appropriate compensation (cancellation fee). Unless otherwise stated in the specific tour description, the following standardized cancellation scales per person apply, based on the General Travel Conditions (ARB 1992):
  • Up to 30 days before departure: 25% of the total price
  • 29 to 20 days before departure: 40% of the total price
  • 19 to 10 days before departure: 60% of the total price
  • 9 to 4 days before departure: 80% of the total price
  • From 3 days (72h) before departure or No-show: 100% of the total price
3. Cancellation due to Unavoidable and Extraordinary Circumstances
In accordance with Section 10 (2) of the Austrian Package Travel Act (PRG), you have the right to withdraw from a package tour before it begins without paying a cancellation fee if unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occur at the destination or its immediate vicinity (e.g., natural disasters, significant health risks) which significantly affect the performance of the tour or the transport to the destination.

4. Refund Process
  • Timelines: Refunds for justified withdrawals will be processed without delay, and in any event no later than 14 days after receipt of the withdrawal notice [Section 10 (4) PRG].
  • Method of Payment: Refunds will generally be issued using the same payment method used for the original booking.
  • Service Fees: For pure mediation services (e.g., flight-only bookings), additional service or processing fees may apply in addition to the provider’s cancellation fees, provided these were agreed upon in advance.
5. Travel Insurance
To avoid financial loss in the event of unexpected illness or other personal reasons, we strongly recommend purchasing Travel Cancellation Insurance.
